Ginger Snaps

1 egg
3/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 T cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
2 T corn syrup
2 T molasses
2 tsp baking soda
2 c flour

Mix egg, sugar and shortening. Add ginger, corn syrup and molasses. Add baking soda and flour. Roll in sugar. Bake at 350 for 8-10 min.
